Bringing hope and restoration to people facing homelessness, poverty, and life-controlling issues.

Who Is Life Springs
Dream Center ?

Life Springs Dream Center is a community outreach ministry of Life Springs Church and part of the global Dream Center Network.

Rooted in the love of Jesus, we focus on serving the most vulnerable in our community—those who are homeless, hungry, justice-involved, or trapped in addiction and exploitation.

Working alongside local churches, agencies, and partners, our goal is simple:
to see people discover hope, develop healthy rhythms, and deliver that same hope to others.

STORIES OF HOPE

Behind every program is a real person, with a real story of transformation.

Amy first connected with us through our Jail Outreach program in North Carolina. Through building trust and relationship, she shared that she had experienced exploitation connected to her struggle with addiction. With support, Amy was placed in a safe and structured environment where she received trauma counseling, addiction recovery support, job readiness training, and parenting classes. After completing the program, she returned to Sanford and was reunited with her family. Today, Amy has full custody of her children and is working full time. Her journey reflects healing, restoration, and the rebuilding of a healthy family foundation.

Teresa participated in our life skills program while in North Carolina. Over six months, she developed practical skills such as completing job applications, preparing a résumé, budgeting, and presenting herself confidently in interviews. Upon her release, she immediately began applying what she had learned. She applied for a cashier position at Bojangles and, during the hiring process, impressed the team so much that she was offered a management role instead. Today, Teresa is employed and also volunteers weekly to help serve the homeless. Her story demonstrates growth, confidence, and giving back to the community.

Terry was struggling to find employment due to transportation challenges. His vehicle had been inoperable for more than two years, creating a major barrier to stability. Our volunteers assessed the situation and discovered that the issue was simply a dead battery. With support, a new battery was purchased, delivered, and installed. With reliable transportation restored, Terry is now actively pursuing employment opportunities. His story is a reminder that sometimes small acts of support can create meaningful change and open doors toward independence.
